Manchester United captain Gary Neville has likened Wayne Rooney to club legend Roy Keane.
Neville says Rooney has the same fighting qualities as former United captain Keane.
He told the Guardian: “He's got the fighting qualities of a Roy Keane, that warrior element in him.
“He's a street fighter: a street footballer playing for Manchester United and England at the peak of his powers. That's what he is.
“He's so determined; his mentality's fantastic to want to play football every minute of every day. Nothing fazes him and it hasn't from the minute he came into the England squad.” |
