England boss Fabio Capello has already held crisis talks with Chelsea captain John Terry.
The Italian will meet with Terry at 3pm at Wembley today leaning towards keeping him as skipper - as long as he is convinced by what the Chelsea defender has to say, says the Mirror.
Capello has already sounded out Terry about their meeting and the whole furore surrounding his alleged affair with England team-mate Wayne Bridge’s ex-partner Vanessa Perroncel.
But it is at Wembley where Terry will really have to persuade Capello to stick with him after a highly embarrassing week of revelations about his personal life.
An insider said: “Fabio will go into the meeting with a clear head. He’s not made a definitive decision, will listen to what is said and then do what is right for England and his squad.” |
